I found it quite by chance, sometime after the birth of this website -- so was very glad that I wasn't alone in my chosen interest! Good books are hard to come by - well - not really - but if you know of one with any sort of mouse connection - then do tell! OUR NEW EMAIL ADDRESS mousespotters@live.comand if it is a good book - then we will mention it. If you thought this site was a specialized - then take a look at this Publisher - who has a delightful collection of books about cookery - and I am the proud owner of the one below - Sugar Plums and Sherbet - as yet unread - but flicking through it looks wonderful! The connection between humbugs and an Arab sweet from 13th-century Spain (where it was borrowed it from the Persians)?" Sugar Plums and Sherbert - the prehistory of Sweetsby Laura Mason. Windmills in my Ovenby Gaitri Pagrach-Chandra. "This book explores the history and customs of the Dutch bakehouse while offering excellent recipes well-suited to the modern kitchen." I think I will ask for this on my Christmas List. |
